Don't Trust Statistics

Don't count out the phenomenal individual. Rogues can often come away with a base on their own by sneaking past enemy lines to capture the flag. Warriors with thousands of hit points can take down squishy mages. Players that have REALLY quick reaction times will beat out players that have problems tracking other players, regardless of gear.

Oftentimes, this *should* skew the numbers, but somehow doesn't. For instance the image above shows me half way down the tables or so, despite the fact that I accumulated 6 captures or 600 points of the 2000 necessary for victory in Eye of the Storm.

Do we get so lost in our numbers that we forget what we set out to assess? The services and things that we provide our Patrons that are the most valuable are not easy to quantify. Isn't it better to teach one Patron to read than check out 100 books?
